William W. Matthews, III Elected the Chair of the La Salle University Board of Trustees

Klehr Harrison is pleased to announce that William (Bill) W. Matthews, III, partner and chair of the firm’s Corporate and Securities Department, was recently unanimously elected to the position of Chair of the La Salle University Board of Trustees.

Bill said of his appointment and alma mater, “I look forward to serving as the Chair of the La Salle University Board of Trustees. La Salle University offers the opportunity for an education that transforms the lives of its students, delivered by dedicated teachers inspired by the Christian Brothers.”

Bill focuses his practice on securities, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate counseling. Frequently acting as “outside general counsel” to his clients, Bill represents them on all aspects of corporate and financial matters and coordinating other legal issues, ranging from litigation to intellectual property to regulatory matters.

Bill received his B.A., maxima cum laude, from La Salle University in 1990, and his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame in 1993.
