Suburban Philadelphia Zoning and Land Use Associate

The position supports our rapidly growing suburban Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley and Central Pennsylvania land use and zoning practice. Applicants should have experience representing property owners, developers, tenants and/or municipalities in numerous aspects of the land entitlement and development process, including preparing and filing zoning/use permit applications, reviewing and interpreting zoning plans, and appearing before zoning and planning boards and community organizations. Appellate experience is a plus.

Candidates should possess the following:

• Strong academic credentials, including a J.D. or equivalent degree from a well-respected U.S. law school.
• Familiarity with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (MPC).
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Be proactive and self-starting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond productively to direction and feedback and to work well with staff and leadership 
• An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, manage workflow priorities and meet deadlines.
• Be a team player – be collaborative and work with a spirit of camaraderie.
• Outstanding attention to accuracy and detail and commitment to work product that is thorough, complete and excellent.
• Admitted to PA Bar.
