Altieri Reelected as Chair of Board of Supervisors, Launches Campaign for Township Supervisor

PHILADELPHIA (January 22, 2025) – Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP is proud to announce that Leonard B. Altieri, III, an associate in the Real Estate and Finance Department, has been reelected as Chairman of the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. In a corresponding move, Altieri also launched his campaign for reelection as a Newtown Township Supervisor.

Altieri focuses his practice on the land use and zoning aspects of real estate development. He works collaboratively with municipalities, RCOs and governmental agencies to achieve zoning and/or land development approval for various types of residential and commercial projects. Prior to joining the firm, Altieri represented various municipalities, school districts and zoning hearing boards where he advised and defended his clients on Zoning & Land Use, Federal Civil Rights, Political Subdivision Tort Claims Act, Public Official Liability and Premises Liability.

Altieri is extensively involved in his local community, where he currently serves as Chairman of the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors. He is a former member of the Marple Newtown Board of School Directors, where he served from 2013 to 2019, holding various leadership positions on the School Board. Prior to his election to the Board of Supervisors in 2019, Altieri also served on the Newtown Township Planning Commission from 2013 to 2018, serving as Commission Secretary from 2015 to 2018.

He received his J.D. from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law and his B.A. from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
