Another Big Law Real Estate Attorney Joins Klehr Harrison Real Estate Department

PHILADELPHIA (March 9, 2022) – Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP is pleased to announce that Gina Leahey joined the firm as an associate in its Real Estate and Finance Department. Leahey brings a significant background in real estate finance law with her to the firm.

“We are thrilled to add Gina to our growing real estate finance team,” said Denise Day, Real Estate and Finance Department Co-Chair. “She comes to us from a large firm where she was able to gain a tremendous amount of experience which will nicely complement our practice.” 

“I’m excited for this great opportunity to be a part of a strong real estate finance practice as well as further develop my own practice,” said Leahey. “Klehr’s impressive real estate practice is made up of many of the region’s most significant developers and investors, and I look forward to working more on the borrower side of transactions with them.”

Leahey’s practice focuses on commercial real estate finance with concentrations in origination, acquisition, syndication and disposition of mortgage loans, mezzanine financing, loan sales and purchases, structured finance and securitization transactions. Her representation includes investment banks, commercial banks, life insurance companies and institutional investors. She also has experience with retail, office, warehouse, hospitality and condominium properties, as well as TIC structures and ground lease transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Leahey worked in the Philadelphia office of a large international law firm in their global finance practice. 

She received her J.D., cum laude from Rutgers Law School, her M.S. from Drexel University and her B.A., summa cum laude from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
