Gaetano Piccirilli Elected Chairman of Caring People Alliance

Gaetano Piccirilli, a partner in the Litigation Department of Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP, has been elected Chairperson of the Board of the Caring People Alliance (formerly, the Crime Prevention Association), including the Liberty Bell Boys and Girls Club of Philadelphia.

The Caring People Alliance is 75 year-old not-for-profit with a mission of serving children, seniors, and strengthening families. In addition to the Boys and Girls Club, the Caring People Alliance operates 3 community centers in the City of Philadelphia, the Marconi Older Adults program, family and parenting services, child care information services, the Caring Paws program, and day care, after care, pre-school/kindergarten, and summer camp programing.

“I have spent years as a child, worker, and volunteer with the Caring People Alliance and I look forward to making an impression that will allow the alliance to prosper for another 75 years,” Piccirilli said when asked about his election as Chairperson. He added that, given his time within the organization – going back to when he was 8 years old – “the appointment is humbling.”

Susan Herron, outgoing Chairperson said “we were thrilled when Gaetano joined the Board and I’m confident that with Gaetano’s skill and passion, the Caring People Alliance and Liberty Bell Boys and Girls Clubs are in good hands.”

Piccirilli was formerly a member of the Pennsylvania State Real Estate Commission and served as Chairperson in 2013.

At Klehr, Piccirilli is a commercial litigator with a reputation for aggressive advocacy, problem solving, and efficiency. Gaetano prides himself on his responsiveness and on developing client strategies that lead to practical solutions. Gaetano has experience in handling commercial litigation, including construction and real estate disputes, in state and federal courts in New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
