Leonard Altieri Selected to Forty Under 40 by City & State Pennsylvania

PHILADELPHIA (May 27, 2026) – Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP is proud to announce that Leonard Altieri, a partner in the firm’s zoning and land use practice group in the Real Estate and Finance Department, was selected for City & State Pennsylvania’s Forty Under 40 awards. He is featured in the May 26 issue and will be honored at a special event to celebrate on October 24 in Harrisburg.

Altieri focuses his practice on the land use and zoning aspects of real estate development. He works collaboratively with municipalities, RCOs and governmental agencies to achieve zoning and/or land development approval for various types of residential and commercial projects. Prior to joining the firm, he represented various municipalities, school districts and zoning hearing boards where he advised and defended his clients on Zoning & Land Use, Federal Civil Rights, Political Subdivision Tort Claims Act, Public Official Liability and Premises Liability.

Extensively involved in his community, Altieri currently serves as an elected member of the Newtown Township (Delaware County) Board of Supervisors, wherein January of 2022, his colleagues elevated him to the position of Board Chair. In 2023, Delaware County Council appointed him to the Delaware County Redevelopment Authority where he currently serves as Treasurer. Prior to his election to the Board of Supervisors in 2019, he served on the Marple Newtown Board of School Directors from 2013 to 2019, holding various leadership positions on the School Board. Altieri also served on the Newtown Township Planning Commission from 2013 to 2018, serving as Commission Secretary from 2015 to 2018.

He received his J.D. from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law and his B.A. from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
