PHILADELPHIA (September 19, 2019)— Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP (Klehr Harrison) is pleased to announce that Michael K. Coran has been appointed to the role of Commissioner for America250PA, the Pennsylvania Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial, the 250th birthday of the United States. In addition to being a partner in the firm’s litigation practice group, Coran serves as General Counsel to the firm and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He concentrates his practice in the area of business litigation, with particular emphasis in merger and acquisition disputes, securities litigation, securities industry disputes and business torts.

Coran received his J.D. from Stanford Law School, and his B.A. with honors from the University of Michigan.
The Pennsylvania Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial (America250PA) was created by an act of the Pennsylvania General Assembly in 2018. This Commission was established to plan, encourage, develop and coordinate the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, Pennsylvania’s integral role in that event and impact of its people on the nation’s past, present and future.
