Richard M. Beck Received the 2015 M&A Advisor's Industrial Manufacturing and Distribution Deal of the Year Award

Richard M. Beck, Esquire, a  partner at Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg, LLP,  received the 2015 M & A Advisor’s Industrial Manufacturing and Distribution Deal of the Year (Under $100MM) Award in recognition of the Firm’s work on behalf of the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the Chapter 11 case of Saladworks, LLC, in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.  The award recognized the successful results achieved in the bankruptcy case from the sale the debtor’s assets to an affiliate of Centre Lane Partners, LLC.  The transaction resulted in a confirmed chapter 11 plan that provided for a 100% principal recovery to unsecured creditors.  Mr. Beck and the firm were recognized at the 10th Annual Turnaround Awards Summit in Palm Beach, Florida.

Saladworks, LLC,  is a restaurant franchise concept that sells made-to-order entrée salads, wraps, soups, and sandwiches. Their restaurants are categorized as "fast casual," and the company markets its menu as a healthy alternative to other fast food fare. The company’s franchisees currently operate 110 restaurant locations in 15 states and are developing locations internationally.
