PHILADELPHIA (January 21, 2020) – Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP (Klehr Harrison) is pleased to announce that Robert P. Johns, III, a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring Department, and Teri M. Sherman, a member of the firm’s Litigation department, have been promoted to Of Counsel, effective January 1, 2020.
Johns concentrates his practice on collections, restructuring and litigation matters including foreclosure litigation, commercial workouts, civil litigation, landlord/tenant disputes and transactional real estate. Johns prosecutes tax lien foreclosures, represents creditor clients in bankruptcy court, conducts Article 9 UCC sales, and executes on secured assets on behalf of individual and institutional clients.
Johns earned his B.A. from Wesleyan University, and his J.D. from the Temple University Beasley School of Law, where he was a faculty scholar.
Sherman is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on commercial contract and business torts, IP/technology, residential and commercial real estate disputes, corporate governance, and labor and employment disputes. In her labor and employment practice, Sherman has particular expertise in trade secret and restrictive covenant disputes, and assists clients with proactive protection of confidential information through the drafting and implementation of employment agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, and related policies. She also represents clients in federal and state government agency investigations, as well as internal corporate investigations.
Sherman received her B.S., summa cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh, and her J.D., cum laude, from the Georgetown University Law Center.
