Zoning and Land Use Associate

Applicants should have 1-3 years of experience representing property owners, developers, tenants and/or municipalities in numerous aspects of the land entitlement and development process, including preparing and filing zoning/use permit applications, reviewing and interpreting zoning plans, and appearing before zoning and planning boards and community organizations. Appellate experience is a plus.

Candidates should possess the following:

• Strong academic credentials, including a J.D. or equivalent degree from a well-respected U.S. law school.
• Familiarity with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (MPC).
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Be proactive and self-starting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond productively to direction and feedback and to work well with staff and leadership
• An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, manage workflow priorities and meet deadlines.
• Be a team player – be collaborative and work with a spirit of camaraderie.
• Outstanding attention to accuracy and detail.
• Admitted to PA Bar.
