Zoning & Land Use Associate
The Real Estate and Finance Department of Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP is seeking an attorney with 2 to 5 years of experience in zoning and land use law to work in one of the most exciting, active and respected zoning and land use groups in the region.
The position is for our Philadelphia office. Applicants should have experience representing property owners, developers, tenants and/or municipalities in numerous aspects of the land entitlement and development process, including preparing and filing zoning/use permit applications, reviewing and interpreting zoning plans, and appearing before zoning and planning boards and community organizations. Appellate experience is a plus.
Candidates should possess the following:
- Strong academic credentials, including a J.D. or equivalent degree from a well-respected U.S. law school.
- Excellent writing and analytical skills.
- Be proactive and self-starting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond productively to direction and feedback and to work well with staff and leadership
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, manage workflow priorities and meet deadlines.
- Be a team player – be collaborative and work with a spirit of camaraderie.
- Outstanding attention to accuracy and detail, and commitment to work product that is thorough, complete and excellent.
- Admitted to PA Bar or will take Bar exam promptly after starting.
