On January 5, 2023, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) proposed a sweeping new rule that would prohibit employers from imposing noncompete clauses on workers. The FTC’s new proposed rule is the most significant and far-reaching – an outright ban with few exceptions. If enacted, this rule will impact employers of all types and sizes across a wide range of industries and will require nearly all employers to assess, and potentially modify, the ways in which they protect their confidential information.
Join attorneys Jonathan Krause, Teri Sherman, and Greg Sellers for this webinar as they discuss the key features of the proposed rule and how it could impact employers. Learn more in the recent Client Alert.
