Joseph is an aggressive and results-oriented commercial litigator and creditors’ rights attorney whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including business divorces, commercial real estate disputes, corporate malfeasance, and UCC-related disputes. He also has extensive experience litigating lender liability and related claims brought by commercial borrowers. He assists and advises both lenders and commercial borrowers on a broad array of legal issues, including loan recoveries, workouts, restructures, and sophisticated asset protection plans.
Joseph has been on the cutting edge of emerging legal issues, litigating legal disputes concerning the nascent cryptocurrency and cannabis industries. This includes litigating securities and commercial fraud disputes within the cryptocurrency mining industry, federal enforcement of contracts concerning medical cannabis, and other budding legal issues.
Joseph has an extensive understanding of corporate governance and deal documents.
Before joining the firm, Joseph worked as a senior associate in the Philadelphia office of a large law firm.
