Drew focuses his practice on the financing of commercial real estate. He deals with lending transactions involving virtually every type of real estate asset, including office, retail, hotel, multifamily, student housing, and industrial properties. He works with developers, retailers, private equity firms and other national and local businesses. His work includes preparing financing and other real estate transactional documents and conducting due diligence for real estate transactions to resolve title, survey and other due diligence issues. Drew has significant experience handling transactions involving fixed-rate, construction, bridge, floating-rate, and mezzanine loan transactions secured by all asset classes. Drew has also advised regarding workouts and restructuring of defaulted and non-performing loans. In addition, he has experience handling landlord/tenant disputes, residential mortgage foreclosures and modifications and consumer financial services litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Drew was an associate in the New York real estate practice of an AmLaw50 firm.
