Edward has more than 20 years’ experience representing individuals, public and privately held companies and financial institutions in connection with debt financing, real estate, and general corporate matters.
Ed’s debt financing experience is significant and broad-based, representing corporations, financial institutions and individuals in negotiating, structuring, documenting and administering real estate finance transactions of all types as well as secured and unsecured single-lender and multibank transactions, asset-based financings, cash flow loans, term loan and revolving credit financings. His real estate practice includes representing clients as buyers, sellers, lenders and borrowers in connection with a wide variety of real estate transactions encompassing loans, including construction and development financings, acquisitions, sales, development, management, and environmental assessment and remediation in both single asset and portfolio transactions. His general corporate experience includes representing clients in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, shareholder agreements, joint ventures, licensing arrangements, employment agreements, as well as franchise, distribution, and sales agreements.
Before joining the firm, Ed was a member of a large national law firm headquartered in Pittsburgh. He also previously served as in-house counsel to the commercial division of one of the nation’s largest diversified financial institutions.
