Helen has over 35 years of experience handling family law matters in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Her area of practice includes divorce, child and spousal support, custody, equitable distribution, and prenuptial and property settlement agreements. She litigates with the awareness that dealing with family law issues such as divorce, same-sex dissolution, custody and child and spousal support can be a scary and emotionally charged experience for many of her clients and something that they never wanted to experience. Helen’s goal is to ensure that her clients understand the law and procedures at each step of the process so that they have realistic expectations as to potential outcomes in order to assist them in making decisions that will best serve their interests both inside and outside of the courtroom.
In addition to maintaining a robust family law practice, Helen is a Fellow of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Association Family Sections, the New Jersey Bar Association Family Law Section, and is the Past Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Review and Certifying Board. Helen is also actively engaged with Philadelphia VIP and the Homeless Advocacy Project, where she takes on support, custody and divorce cases pro bono.
