Biography
Kyle represents owners, developers, investors and tenants in commercial real estate transactions. He focuses his practice on the acquisition, sale, leasing, financing and development of various property types, including mixed-use, multifamily, student housing, retail/shopping center, office, industrial, hotel and senior living.
A few of Kyle’s recent significant matters include:
- Representation of a leading national student housing owner/developer in the sale of a ground-up mixed-use development in Clemson, South Carolina for $181 million, two ground-up mixed-use projects in Ann Arbor, MI for $185.5 million, and a ground-up mixed-use project in Knoxville, TN for $115 million.
- Representation of an industrial outdoor storage fund in an approximately $140 million recapitalization transaction.
- Representation of a joint venture in the approximately $135 million sale of membership interests in a single-tenant net leased office project in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
- Representation of a multifamily owner/developer in the approximately $84 million acquisition and financing of a multifamily project near Pittsburgh, PA.
- Representation of a sports and entertainment company in the approximately $56 million acquisition of four properties in the Market East corridor of Philadelphia.
- Representation of a prominent Delaware owner/developer in the approximately $24 million acquisition and financing of a mixed-use building in Center City, Philadelphia.
Before joining the firm, Kyle was in-house counsel for a Philadelphia-based private equity firm and its portfolio companies, advising on general corporate and transactional matters.
