Biography
Scott focuses his practice on bankruptcy law, real estate matters, construction law and commercial litigation, including receivership, subrogation, recovery and collections, and a broad range of creditors’ rights issues.
Scott regularly appears in both federal and state courts, where he litigates matters involving insolvency and financial distress. He is particularly skilled and adept at managing all phases of litigation, from inception through trial. Scott also regularly handles arbitrations and mediations. Clients rely on Scott’s ability to creatively structure and implement settlements in order to resolve commercial disputes efficiently.
Prior to joining the firm, Scott was a partner in the Philadelphia office of a national law firm, where he built a strong track record in restructuring and insolvency matters across a wide range of industries.
Outside the office, Scott volunteers as jazz coordinator for Lehigh Valley Community Radio (WDIY) and hosts All Star Jazz for the station on the third Wednesday of each month.
