Biography
Bill focuses his practice on complex commercial and construction litigation matters with a particular focus on real estate disputes. He regularly appears in both federal and state courts as well as before arbitration panels throughout the country in complex, high-stakes matters.
He approaches problem-solving pragmatically and has a proven track record assisting clients navigate complex disputes and, in many cases, avoiding them.
In addition to his litigation practice, Bill also serves as outside corporate counsel to numerous businesses across various sectors.
Prior to joining the firm, Bill was a partner with a real estate and litigation boutique law firm just outside of Philadelphia, and prior to that, a full-service regional firm.

Experience
- Successfully defended the developer of senior living facility against contractor claims of non-payment and delay damages, and successfully prosecuted liquidated damage, and defect and omission counterclaims.
- Achieved favorable settlement of competing delay, and defect and omission claims on behalf of a developer in a dispute against a contractor.
- Obtained arbitration award and prompt pay act remedies in favor of subcontractor against general contractor.
- Following a more than month long bench trial, obtained a judgment in favor of a Landlord against a Tenant nursing home operator confirming that the nursing home “bed rights,” an asset worth in excess of $10 million, were the property of the Landlord not the Tenant upon termination of the subject lease, which decision was ultimately affirmed by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
- Obtained judgment in ejectment in favor of the holder of air rights against encroaching adjoining property owner.
- Obtained early dismissal of a breach of contract claim brought by the purchaser of a portfolio of restaurants against the Seller of the restaurants and underlying real estate.
- Successfully prosecuted specific performance claim on behalf of contract purchaser of a large multi-family project against competing claim of breach and termination by Seller.
- Secured judgment on behalf of the Seller of a multi-family project for retention of liquidated damages against claim by purchaser of valid termination.
