PHILADELPHIA (June 17, 2019)— Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP (Klehr Harrison) is pleased to announce that Paige Willan has been appointed by Governor Wolf as the newest member of the Pennsylvania State Transportation Commission (STC).
Willan replaces Cristina Cavalieri of Philadelphia, whose term expired this year. “I am excited and honored to be given this opportunity to work with the commission on important state issues and look forward to serving the Commonwealth for the next six years,” Willan said of her appointment.
Willan focuses her practice on providing cost-effective resolutions to commercial disputes ranging from simple breach of contract issues to complex business tort and statutory claims. In addition to her commercial dispute resolution practice, she represents clients in investigations conducted by federal and state government agencies, as well as internal corporate investigations.
Willan earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A. from Bryn Mawr College.
The STC is a 15-member body, chaired by the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). The STC serves as the Board of Directors to PennDOT. The STC is charged with the high-level evaluation of Pennsylvania’s transportation system and provides policy-driven direction with respect to the development of the Twelve Year Transportation Program.
