PHILADELPHIA (March 18, 2021) – Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP is pleased to announce that Jason T. Acevedo joined the firm as a partner in its Corporate and Securities Department.
Acevedo brings with him over 15 years of international law firm and in-house counsel experience covering all manner of venture capital, strategic investor and corporate transactional work.

Acevedo’s experience includes equity and debt transactions, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships, entity formation, commercial and licensing arrangements as well as general corporate governance. He provides practical, business-centric advice focused on achieving long-term strategic objectives.
He represents both newly formed as well as mature companies. His experience spans the breadth of a company’s lifecycle, from formational strategy to debt and equity fundraising, through to company exit and all manner of intermediate general corporate needs in between. This expertise encompasses everything from entity considerations, founder relations and contingency planning, employment agreements and equity compensation, on-going organizational and corporate matters, fundraising (angel and seed rounds through to Series A growth rounds and beyond), strategic and exit planning, counseling and deal consummation.
Prior to joining the firm, Acevedo gained experience with both large law firms and as in-house general counsel for a public holding company with ownership interests in more than 25 portfolio businesses at varying lifecycle stages and across a variety of industries.
He received his J.D. from the Villanova Charles Widger School of Law, his M.B.A. from Villanova University and his B.S., summa cum laude from Arizona State University – W. P. Carey School of Business.
