PHILADELPHIA (November 27, 2023) – Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP is pleased to announce that Catherine V. Wigglesworth joined the firm as a partner in its Litigation Department.
Wigglesworth brings extensive litigation experience with her to the firm after spending the previous 11 years at Dechert in Philadelphia. She joins a growing trend of big law attorneys who have found success in the mid-sized environment of Klehr Harrison.
“Our litigation team continues to grow, and Catherine’s deep experience in corporate governance disputes and financial services litigation will be a great asset to the group,” said Jonathan Krause, Litigation Department Chair. “We have an established track record of former Big Law attorneys flourishing at Klehr, and we’re excited for Catherine to continue that trend.”
Catherine joins a cadre of recent lateral partners from larger law firms, including Jason Acevedo (Corporate), Tom Ayala (Litigation), Alexandra Hill (Real Estate) and Ryan Moore (Litigation). Klehr Harrison has a long history of enhancing the development and progression of Big Law attorneys at the firm, including all three members of its executive Committee, Brad Krouse, Michael Coran and Keith Kaplan.
“We take pride in being a preferred destination for ambitious, highly skilled attorneys with sophisticated practices who are looking for alternatives to Big Law to grow their practice and continue their careers,” said Brad Krouse, Klehr’s Managing Partner.
“I’m excited to join the team at Klehr,” said Wigglesworth. “The firm’s litigation practice is well-respected and my experience nicely aligns with the complex civil litigation the department already handles.”
Wigglesworth focuses her practice on securities litigation, complex commercial litigation, internal investigations and business disputes as well as conducting investigations in highly regulated industries. She is a complex civil litigator, with particular experience in corporate governance disputes and financial services litigation. She participates in and supervises all aspects of discovery, pretrial case preparation, trial and appellate work in state and federal courts. In addition, she has significant experience in the Delaware courts.
She received her J.D. from Columbia Law School and her B.A. from The University of Chicago.
