PHILADELPHIA (February 9, 2026) – Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP is pleased to announce that William C. Katz has joined the firm as a partner, and Matthew L. Erlanger has joined as Of Counsel in the Litigation Department of its Philadelphia Office. Both attorneys bring with them extensive knowledge to the department’s expanding construction practice group. Joshua M. Link, also a member of the construction practice group, was recently elevated to Of Counsel, and the team has a slate of continuing legal education (CLE) programs planned for the year.

Katz focuses his practice on complex commercial and construction litigation matters. He regularly appears in both federal and state courts as well as before arbitration panels throughout the country. He approaches problem-solving pragmatically and has proven track record of assisting clients navigate complex disputes and, in many cases, avoiding them. Katz also serves as outside corporate counsel to numerous businesses across various sectors. He received his J.D. from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and his B.A. from Emory University.
Erlanger concentrates his practice on construction and complex commercial litigation. He serves as a trusted advisor to owners, contractors, and subcontractors, counseling clients on risk management and dispute avoidance throughout all phases of public and private construction projects. He regularly represents clients in matters involving project delays, construction defects, performance and payment bond claims, mechanics’ liens, wrongful termination, delayed or withheld payments, and breach of contract and related contractual claims. His experience includes preparing and litigating bid protests and drafting motions and briefs in construction-related disputes. He represents clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings and has argued before the Superior Court and Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and the New Jersey Superior Court Appellate Division. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and his B.M., summa cum laude, from Temple University.
