PHILADELPHIA (May 18, 2022) – Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP is excited to announce the launch of a Diversity Fellowship Program intended to further its mission of recruiting and retaining candidates from diverse backgrounds, as well as those who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion. Applications for the Diversity Fellowship are now being accepted and considered on a rolling basis. The deadline for 2022 submissions is June 15, 2022.
Selected fellows will participate in a six-week paid summer component of the program beginning Summer 2022. Eligible candidates will be in their first or second year of law school and selected fellows will also continue participating in the mentorship component of the program during the course of their second or third year of law school.
“This is a great opportunity for law school students to gain real experience and develop skills in the fast-paced world of one of the city’s top law firms,” said Nicole Haiem, an associate in the Corporate and Securities Department and member of the DEI Committee. “These types of programs and experiences can be very impactful, and I’m grateful to be in a position to pay that forward to the next generation of attorneys.”
“The firm believes in a diverse work environment with individuals from different backgrounds and with different perspectives,” said Labor and Employment Chair and DEI Committee Member Lee Moylan, who also previously served as the firm’s Hiring Partner. “It helps us to attract the best and brightest candidates in the legal community and enables us to provide the best representation to our clients.”
