Join Litigation Department co-chair Jonathan Krause and ACC Greater Philadelphia – Association of Corporate Counsel for an exclusive in-person roundtable, “Dollars & Business Sense: Translating Employment Risk into Business Strategy,” on Wednesday, June 10.
This roundtable will focus on helping in-house lawyers communicate with business leaders in terms of financial, operational, and reputational impact rather than purely legal risk. The session will explore who truly bears the cost of litigation (including hidden business disruption costs) and use practical examples from restrictive covenant enforcement and EEOC/discrimination claims to illustrate how legal decisions affect revenue, talent, and brand. It will also address the importance of aligning legal strategy with company culture and desired reputation and emphasize the lawyer’s role as a counselor who helps the business assess whether disputes stem from external market forces or internal cultural dynamics—ultimately positioning employment counsel as a strategic partner in smarter, economically grounded decision-making.
Attendees will enjoy a buffet dinner during the roundtable discussion. No CLE Credit will be offered for this program.
