Applications Now Being Accepted for Klehr Harrison 2024 Diversity Fellowship

PHILADELPHIA (January 22, 2024) – Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP is excited to announce the return of our Diversity Fellowship Program sponsored by the firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. The program is intended to further the mission of providing meaningful opportunities for education, mentorship and career advancement to future lawyers who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal community. Applications for the Diversity Fellowship are now being accepted. The deadline for 2024 submissions is March 15, 2024.

This year’s program will run from June 2024 to June 2025 and includes both an eight-week paid summer in-person work experience and continued mentorship and social and professional development opportunities during the academic year. Eligible candidates will be in their first or second year of law school and selected fellows will also continue participating in the mentorship component of the program during the course of their second or third year of law school.

“This is a great opportunity for law school students to gain real experience and develop skills in the fast-paced world of one of the city’s top law firms,” said Nicole Haiem, an associate in the Corporate and Securities Department and member of the DEI Committee. “These types of programs and experiences can be very impactful, and I’m grateful to be in a position to pay that forward to the next generation of attorneys.”

“We’ve witnessed the success of the program over the last two years and remain committed to providing important programs like this for law students,” said DEI Committee Chair Paige Willan. “Our fellows have gained valuable experience working with us in the office during the program and we have remained engaged with them during the academic year— and well beyond the term of their fellowship—with even more opportunities to learn and develop professionally.”
